marble run and maze
Build a marble run around a Deep Gratnells tray and set it so the marble drops from the run into a marble maze in a Shallow Gratnells tray.
Marble Run
Use the equipment above to make a marble run around a Gratnells tray that keeps the marble mobile for the longest amount of time, the marble must not stop moving for more than 1 second on any part of the run.
You will need
- Blue-tac or white-tac full packet
- Washi tape rolls x 5 (get in primary colours, more colourful against the trays)
- Sharp scissors x 5
- Toilet roll tubes (empty)
- Kitchen paper roll tubes (empty)
- Lollypop sticks or craft sticks x 10
- A4 coloured card x 4 (different colour per team)
- Extra deep Gratnells tray
- Deep Gratnells tray
- Marbles
- Stop watch
Maze
Use the equipment above to make a marble maze in the bottom of the Gratnells tray.
